As most educators and child psychologists point out, free play in preschool is the basis for creativity, effective problem solving and overall learning.
A short story or a fairy tale reinforces pre-reading and comprehension of texts, while a game with soap bubbles sharpens interest in natural sciences and experiments. Also with messy play we encourage engagement with the arts and through the interactive board we come into contact with technology while playing.
So here at HAPPY KIDDO we combine learning with play and fun!
Our school program focuses on the child and his enormous need for play. With this basis, we have created educational programs which hide within the game basic concepts and skills that suit your child’s age group but also his unique personality.
Our young students have the opportunity to play almost every day (weather permitting) outside in our large yard, with various stimuli and outdoor activities that promote cooperation, teamwork, and ultimately learning.
Also through a variety of projects that run throughout the year, students are encouraged to propose games and activities that match the theme and work so that their game ideas come to life!
So the children themselves arrange the program they want and how their day will go, playing and learning.
All the educational material, games, books and tools for the arts are in places accessible by the children themselves, so that through spontaneity and freedom of choice, the opportunity is given for more play, improvisation and ultimately knowledge through play .
